Since I am going to be 21 a week today...I thought I'd post whats been on my birthday wishlist...
When you turn 21 it is tradition that you receive a wristwatch. I am not really one for wearing a watch but I think this watch is rather beautiful. I have loved Olivia Burton accessories since spotting them in Harvey Nichols about a year ago but she's only really become more mainstream in the past few months. It now appears that an Olivia Burton watch is the thing to have! It's not something I'd normally purchase or I'd even buy with my own money, but hey if tradition is a must!
I have wanted a black felt hat for soooo long...mostly because of my Liv Purvis 'Hat Envy'. But every time I try one on, my sister informs me I look like a fourth musketeer! Which is apparently not a good look...however I tried this one on in Topshop and I actually looked ok!
Since I am having a year of travelling, I think a new luggage tag would be a very apt. gift. I am so excited for the various adventures I am going on this year and have already begun the hunt for the perfect suitcase!
I am a Baking Addict and really want to expand my breadth of baking knowledge and experience. One thing I would particularly like to have a go at is Madeleine's. I watched Rachel Khoo make these gorgeous looking lemon curd and raspberry Madeleine's and could have scoffed the lot as they are delicious flavours. In order to make them...I would love a silicone madeleine tin!
I also reckon its about time I got my own Tea Pot - given how much Tea I consume each day! And of course any Tea Pot of mine has got to be beautiful - thats why I love this Cath Kidston one!
Anyone who knows me well, will know that Spring is my favourite time of year. Not only is it my Birthday but also Easter, Pancake Day, Lambs, Bunnies, Daffodils, Snowdrops, Warmer Weather, Afternoon Tea and it feels quintessentially British!
So top of my list is a bunch of Daffy's!
I also cannot wait to see my 'MAKE THE PRESENTS' Gift!
(My Best Friend Kirsty will know what I am on about!)
But this birthday, I just want to have a lovely time and enjoy all my celebrations and most of all - for my Job Interview to go well next week!
