"I've got you...'on'...my skin" (Sorry Frank: I'm talking about Beauty Products NOT a Lover!)

Its safe to say that I am a Liz Earle lover, given how many of her products I have in my make up bag & how many I cart around with me! I discovered Liz Earle long before she became popular and had shops 'Up North'. I originally began using Liz Earle when I hit puberty and had terrible skin; dry/greasy & spotty & horrid! I got really down and upset about how horrid my skin looked and my Mum suggested I use her Liz Earle Beauty Products. Other products specifically aimed at 'youth skin' had failed to work, so I was skeptical. However, after a fortnight of using the products, the results were unbelievable and I was much happier with my appearance.

The main product I have used over the years, is the Cleanse & Polish. This cleanser will remove make up, reinvigorate your skin and leave it feeling clean and soft and moisturised. Everyday applications are done briefly as I rub a small amount over my face before running a muslin cloth under a really hot tap (squeezing it out - so its just damp) and laying it over my face and wiping it off. For even briefer applications; I apply it, before hopping in the shower. However, for days where I feel my skin needs a little extra help; I apply the Cleanse & Polish, leave it on my face for about 20 minutes until you just look like you've dipped your face in Oil and then removing the cleanser. This works particularly well on 'the day after the night before' - after a late night or a night of cocktails & dancing. I would definitely encourage people to use this product, particularly since its amazing value for money as well as being effective!

Another product that I use daily, is the Skin Repair Moisturiser. I use the Dry/Sensitive Moisturiser as I have the most awkward and delicate skin but they also do the Combination/Oily version too. I massage this onto my face morning, noon and night to prevent my skin from peeling and stop it looking grey. The Moisturiser is light and doesn't rest heavily on my skin. Its also perfect for going under my make up as I put foundation on top and it doesn't feel heavy. As you can see; my pot of Moisturiser has taken a battering over the whole year that I have had this pot. I bought the pot version instead of the pump as I feel its alot better value for money as you only use what you need. This Moisturiser is also great for mixing with foundation to create tinted Moisturiser!

I am a recently new convert to the Liz Earle Superbalm. Before Christmas, I clumsily managed to tip a kettle full of boiling water over my hand and ended up with terrible burns all over my left hand. After 2 days of the skin being incredibly painful, it began to peel and I decided that I needed a product to stop it from being dry and sore. I initially thought of Bio-Oil but after seeing the price I thought - isn't there something else that would be similar that I could use for other things!? I originally thought of the Liz Earle Superskin Concentrate as my Mum used this serum on a scar she has and it worked wonders. I consequently went into the Leeds Store in the Victoria Quarter (which I need no excuse to frequent). They looked at my burn and recommended the Superbalm. I tested the product and agreed that the thicker and heavier texture was better than the lighter but greasier oil. After using the balm about 20 times a day for a month and wearing the cotton gloves over night - my hand is almost back to normal. I now only use the Balm twice a day and you can only see a slight difference in the colour of the burn area to the rest of my hand. I now use the Superbalm for my Lips, Cuticles, Dry Elbows and on Scabs. The Superbalm is incredibly moisturising and doesn't feel too greasy and it also speeds up recovery time for Scars/Scabs. Another Plus is that its Anti-Ageing!

When I bought my pot of Superbalm, I received a complimentary Mini-Version of the Instant Boost Skin Tonic. I carry this mini spray around in my handbag and find it is perfect for reinvigoration and rejuvenation when you are having a bad day/stressful day/long day or are very tired. This makes you feel fresh and able to face the world. A couple of spritzes to the face after using the Cleanse and Polish also finishes the daily cleanse routine perfectly.

Once a week, I use the Gentle Face Exfoliator. This product isn't too abrasive for my delicate skin and is the only 'scrub' I have found to suit my skin. I use the Exfoliator primarily on my face and generally on a Sunday morning while I listen to The Archers. The Exfoliator is light and not too grainy meaning that it is also fairly moisturising - however using all of these moisturising products together, does not mean that my face is greasy! The Exfoliator is also brilliant for my Legs and Arms during the summer - as I have very delicate skin.

When I bought this last Pump Bottle of Exfoliator, I received a complimentary Intensive Nourishing Treatment Mask. These masks are soooo much better than those sachet face masks that you can buy in Superdrug/Boots. It soothes my dry skin and re-hydrates - its particularly good for use after I have been performing on stage for a week and been wearing lots of heavy stage make up. This mask in particular is good for drier and 'grayer' skin in contrast to the Deep Cleansing Mask, which I used to use on my Spotty Pubescent Skin - My Sister now uses this particular Mask and finds that its also great for smearing on Spots as it dries them up and makes them heal quicker/takes the inflammation out of them.

All in all, I looove Liz Earle products as they work for my skin and are good value. Particularly since you receive complementary products each time you make a purchase in store. These mini-sized products are perfect for trying out new products and seeing if they work for you! They are also handbag sized and perfect for taking on holiday with you! They also do a loyalty card scheme and calculate how much you spend each time in store every 10 purchases or so and then you receive a full size product. Another money saving aspect to Liz Earle is the Essentials Bundle's that they sell each month that contain certain products and are on special offer with huge savings. These packs change each month and are definitely worth buying as they are perfect 'starter packs' or they set you up in products for a long time!
